The Air series throws out the idea that fast glass has to be heavy. Most sit in the 170-gram class yet still give you an f/1.7 aperture and proper autofocus. They all but vanish on the body — great for street, travel and run-and-gun video — and they're the obvious pick when you want to pack light but aren't ready to go all-manual.
